Indian Super League (ISL) side, Hyderabad FC are reportedly in talks with Sahil Tavora to extend his contract with a report confirming that the club has confirmed that they are looking at the possibility of extending Tavora’s contract for another two years.
Tavora who came into the limelight at Dempo SC in 2013 remains one of the few players to play for a European club – representing Portuguese club GDSC Alvarenga, for whom he made 26 appearances while scoring one goal.
In 2019, he signed for Hero ISL outfit Hyderabad FC where he played 19 games for them, scoring the most crucial goal for them in the final of the edition and will be expected to provide the firepower needed after winning their inaugural title in 2021/22.
A number of Hyderabad’s top players are set to leave Juanan probably leaving at the end of his contract while Ashish Rai has already signed a five-year deal with ATK Mohun Bagan, which leaves them short of star players.
The club have roped in Soyal Joshi from Kerala, with the star playing a crucial role in the success of the team in the final. They are also in talks with Barthlomew Ogbeche to extend his contract. Manolo Marquez is also looking to retain the nucleus of the team and to continue the success run this season as well.
