Indian Super League (ISL) side, FC Goa on Tuesday confirmed that midfielder, Edu Bedia has extended his contract with the club and will stay with the Gaurs till the summer of 2023.
Bedia who joined FC Goa in 2017, has made102 appearances for the Gaurs so far and becomes the first foreign player to embark in his sixth season for any club – which is a record for an overseas signing.
โIt has been a pleasure for me to complete various personal milestones and also to win laurels with the club. However, I believe this coming season will be my most important at the club and I fully believe we will be back amongst the top teams in the ISL,โ Bedia said on the contract extension.

FC Goa’s director of football, Ravi Puskur was excited by the Spaniard’s decision to remain with them, believing that the midfielders experience will play a key role for them in the upcoming ISL season.

The 33-year-old has netted 13 goals and registered as many assists for the Gaurs during his time with them, playing an important role in them winning three trophies so far.
