Indian Super League giants ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the departure of Michael Soosairaj from the club.
This news comes after it was revealed by Marcus Mergulhao that the talented Indian footballer has completed a move to fellow Indian Super League club Odisha FC.
Here’s wishing @soosairajmichal all the very best as he departs the club 👋

Soosairaj signed for ATK Mohun Bagan in 2020, but he has now decided to leave the club in order to get more game time.
The 27-year-old star started his senior career in the 2016/17 season with Chennai City FC in the Hero I-League.
He then moved to Jamshedpur FC in the 2018/19 Indian Super League season, scoring four goals.
Soosairaj then thought it to be the biggest move of his career when ATK Mohun Bagan came calling. His first season saw him score three goals in 20 appearances. But the rest two seasons were almost spent on the sideline with a long-term injury.
The attacking midfielder only made seven appearances for ATK Mohun Bagan in the last two seasons and will hope that his move to Odisha FC will give him the opportunity to prove himself at the highest level once again.

Odisha FC have concerns of their own as they try to make an impact in the league since their re-branding and Soosairaj, a player vying to prove himself, could exactly be the flame that could ignite a fire in the Indian Super League.
